Prosecutors have indicted three teenagers on suspicion of murdering a 16-year-old boy in the Koskela district of Helsinki on December 4, 2020.
The suspects were charged with a number of other charges in the same case, including nine assaults and one robbery. A fourth teenager is also charged with robbery.
According to a preliminary police investigation, the three teenagers suffered for a long time from bullying, which included three separate acts of violence until his death.
Two defendants are suspected of involvement in all three attacks, while another suspect is believed to have participated in two.
Police also suspect that the three defendants planned and organized the victim’s robbery in August last year, along with a fourth teenager who is not suspected of other crimes.
In addition, two suspects in the case have accused a third defendant of beating them.
The case will be heard in the Helsinki District Court on 17 and 19 February and 3 March.
