- Sweden is now expelling a Russian diplomat in response to Russia’s decision on Friday to expel a Swedish diplomat, confirms Foreign Minister Ann Linde for Ekot.
- In addition to the Swede, Russia also expels a Polish and a German diplomat, for having participated in demonstrations in support of the regime critic Alexei Navalny – something that Sweden’s foreign minister firmly denies.
- The Swedish expulsion of a Russian diplomat is done in consultation with Germany and Poland, which also expel diplomats.
