From Iceland – No news of a contract with Pfizer yet

From Iceland - No news of a contract with Pfizer yet

Þórólfur Guðnason, Chief Epidemiologist, has told the nation that an agreement has yet to be made between Iceland and Pfizer, Indicator reports.

There have been many rumors about an agreement with Pfizer that would make Iceland a test site for the vaccine. It was estimated by many that hundreds of thousands of vaccines were coming to the country this week.

According to Þórólf, these rumors are just rumors.

“I just enjoy all these stories. This shows that Icelanders are a good nation and a nation of stories, “said Þórólfur in Bítin á Bylgjan this morning.

“No contract, no dates and no planes.”

He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture and that his confession had been obtained through torture.

“Yes, I have said this for a long time that I would have expected it sooner than it is just the way it is. There’s nothing more you can do about it, I’ll just wait and see what comes out of it. But meanwhile, there is nothing new in itself. There is nothing in hand, no contract, no dates and no planes, “says the epidemiologist.

Measures are being taken but not yet completed.

Þórólfur stated that a meeting with Pfizer had been planned this week and that it would go as planned. He also told the nation that there was nothing new to hear about other vaccines coming to the country.

It was stated at an information meeting last week that about 74,000 doses of the vaccine would arrive in the country from the end of March to the beginning of April.
