Helsinki residents have announced that they have received text messages and calls that offer non-existent times for coronavirus vaccinations, the city of Helsinki said in a press release on Monday.
"These are really unfortunate events and we have been in contact with the police about" Senior physician Timo Lukkarinen wrote in the publication.
Residents were also reminded that vaccinations are given in accordance with national vaccination procedures.
"The queue cannot be bypassed and vaccinations are free for all Helsinki residents," Lukkarinen continued.
The city of Helsinki urges people to report scams or phones to the police.
Coronavirus vaccinations are given at central vaccination points in Helsinki, and the vaccination period can be booked online via the website koronarokotusaika.fi or by calling 09310 46300.
