From Iceland - The first shopping program that understands Icelandic

The first shopping program to understand Icelandic was released to the public today.

Aha.is developed the app that allows users to tell their phone what food they need and it will monitor what needs to be bought for the next shopping trip.

You can also search for a product by asking the application. The program will then tell you what is available and in which stores it can be purchased.

The program itself had been in development for two years before it was released.

You can speak Icelandic with your fridge, if you want.

If you have a smart refrigerator, you can connect the program to it and you can tell the refrigerator what is missing.

Said Helgi Már Þórðarson, one of the owners of Aha.is Fréttablaðið: “You can press a button in the application and say what you need and it will immediately appear on the screen. This way, it only takes a few seconds to find the products and just a few minutes to complete a large grocery order on your phone, which is amazing. “

Aha.is has operated an online store market since 2011. From this website you can access a wide range of products that can be brought to your home, such as electronics in general groceries.

The website also gives users access to experiences such as hotel nights, spa days and more.
