– We believe that it is really important that we prioritize those who have to leave their educational institutions, says Deputy Director Mette Fjord Sørensen from Danish Industry.
The organization wants the 9th and 10th grades, the students in 2nd grade and 3rd grade as well as the young people who will soon complete a vocational education back in school.
– They must return already after the winter holidays, so that they can receive education and become part of the social community.
– Because there are a lot of people who are unhappy right now, and there are many who are hanging with the drawer, says Mette Fjord Sørensen.
Dansk Industri proposes that students only meet physically at school three days a week to limit the spread of covid-19. For the other two days, the young people must receive online tuition.
The remaining students in primary and lower secondary schools, vocational schools and vocational education must return to the schools from 1 March, according to the organization.
The Radicals agree that it is time to open the schools to the larger students. So far, only the children in 0th to 4th grade meet physically at school.
– Children and young people must return to school as soon as possible. But it must be them all – not just those who are going to the exam, writes education spokesperson Lotte Rod (R) on Twitter.
