Inflation up and as expected

Inflation up and as expected
  • The inflation rate in January was 1.7 percent, according to Statistics Sweden.
  • This is an increase from 0.5% in December and the highest figure since 2019.
  • The increase was expected by analysts and is due to temporary price changes in electricity and fuel, fewer clothes sales and changed statistical calculation bases due to the pandemic.
