Barely five months after the murder of a 20-year-old hairdresser in Brønshøj, the perpetrator is still at large.
Therefore, the Copenhagen Police are asking the public for help and are looking for witnesses who may have seen the man who is believed to have shot and killed the victim.
The murder was committed on 29 September last year on Mørhøjvej in Brønshøj.
Here, a 20-year-old man was killed by gunfire in the hair salon Salon Ørn, after which the perpetrator fled the scene.
The perpetrator is described as 183 to 200 centimeters tall and plain of building. At the time of the murder, he was wearing a black rain or shell jacket, black cap, black rain or shell pants, black shoes and black gloves.
He was also wearing a white or light blue mask and was carrying a bag.
Copenhagen Police have released a surveillance video from Brønshøj, where you can see the man both before and after the murder.
According to the police, the man came walking along Mørkhøjvej at 12.45 in a southerly direction before the intersection Mørkhøjvej / Novembervej.
He continued towards Salon Ørn, which is located at the address Mørkhøjvej 67, but initially passed the salon and subsequently walked along Muldager.
For four minutes he was around Muldager in an unknown place and returned to Salon Ørn at 12.52.
He then went into the hairdressing salon, fired the lethal shots and fled the scene along Muldager in the direction of Kagsløkke.
– We would very much like to be in contact with witnesses who have seen the perpetrator on the routes he followed before and after the murder.
– He may have got out of a car near the intersection Mørkhøjvej / Novembervej, and he may also have used an escape vehicle, says deputy police inspector Bjarke Dalsgaard in the announcement.
Copenhagen Police are also investigating an attempted murder, which took place five days earlier in the period 13.32-13.35 at Salon Ørn.
Here, two people drove past Salon Ørn on a silver-gray Yamaha motorcycle of the brand VP250 X-City.
The persons were both wearing black clothes with the caps pulled up over their heads and the passenger was holding a gun in his hand.
The motorcycle passed the hair salon a total of four times and then disappeared along Mørkhøjvej to Novembervej. It does not appear from the police information whether shots were fired in that connection.
The vehicle is believed to have been stolen from a villa in Klampenborg between 18 September at 20 and 19 September at 07.30.
It was found again at Dildhaven in Herlev on 26 September.
– We are investigating the two cases on the basis that there is a connection between them. That is why we are very interested in hearing from witnesses who have seen the people on the motorcycle drive past Salon Ørn.
– But also if you have seen the motorcycle in the period after it was stolen, or if someone has seen it left behind in Herlev, says Bjarke Dalsgaard.
Copenhagen Police have also released a video of the two people on the motorcycle who passed the hair salon on Mørkhøjvej on 24 September.
