In the nursing home Lyngparken in Varde, a doctor insisted on getting four vaccines for himself instead of vaccinating the employees at the nursing home. Whether it happened or was stopped, Berlingske does not know.
Later at the same nursing home, a doctor chose to use the vaccine on himself, even though there were eight residents who had not been vaccinated.
Berlingske also describes a situation at the nursing home Carolineparken, where several doctors vaccinated each other during a break, and where one’s spouse came from outside and received a vaccine.
According to Berlingske, the person responsible for distributing the vaccines in the Region of Southern Denmark, Susanne Lauth, calls the situation “completely inadmissible”.
And the Executive Vice President of the Region of Southern Denmark, Kurt Espersen, writes in a letter to the General Practitioners in Southern Denmark that the result is that residents have not received the vaccination they were supposed to.
– The Region of Southern Denmark’s values prioritize orderliness, justice, compliance with agreements and good dialogue.
– The above is completely contrary to it – arrogant response, non-compliance with agreements, prejudice of his own and leaving vulnerable, elderly nursing home residents in the lurch. It is just not a proper and acceptable behavior, he writes.
Chairman of the general practitioners in the Region of Southern Denmark, Birgitte Ries Møller, writes in a reply to Berlingske.
– The general practitioners have made quick decisions. Some of them were not so good and we are sad about that.
