The intensified efforts in Kolding and Ishøj have been extended until and including 7 March. This is stated by the Ministry of Children and Education in a press release.
This means that pupils from 0th to 4th grade will continue to be sent home in Ishøj, while schools and day care institutions will be closed in Kolding city.
All citizens are also encouraged to be tested for coronavirus, the Ministry of Health said in a press release on Friday.
It is not much more than a week ago that Kolding Municipality got a real fright due to an outbreak of coronavirus.
At the same time, Kolding took over the boring first place over municipalities with the highest infection pressure from Ishøj. It has been there ever since.
According to a statement from the Statens Serum Institut, Kolding has within the last seven days registered 282.8 infected per 100,000 inhabitants.
Ishøj is in second place with an incidence rate of 271.2 infected per 100,000 inhabitants.
