- The largest opposition party in the Scottish Parliament, the Conservative Tories, wants to conduct a no-confidence vote against Scottish Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
- Sturgeon is accused, among other things, of lying to parliament in connection with sexual harassment accusations against her representative in the post of Prime Minister, Alex Salmond.
- During an eight-hour committee hearing today, Sturgeon called the accusations against her absurd.
