Several companies in Sweden are interested in producing the Russian covid vaccine Sputnik V in factories in Europe, reports Svenska dagbladet Näringsliv.
Ali Mirazimi is a vaccine researcher at Karolinska Institutet and he tells the newspaper, among other things, that if Sputnik V is manufactured in Europe, the process would be better and faster because it would be easier to ensure quality.
Vaccine coordinator Richard Bergström has previously said that the Russian vaccine can be approved in the EU no earlier than May.
