The reopening agreement means that outdoor dining can reopen on April 21st. On May 6, restaurants may open their doors for indoor dining.
In both cases, a coronapas is the entrance ticket for the guests.
– We will have a control function that is so significantly different from the service function we normally represent, says Katia Østergaard.
The requirement for coronapas means that you must be able to document that you have either been vaccinated, have had the disease before or be able to present a negative coronate test that is a maximum of 72 hours old.
Katia Østergaard predicts that it will be more expensive for the profession to have to check whether the guests have things in order.
She also believes that it will deter many guests from going to restaurant and limit the desire to get out and eat.
The director of the profession finds it difficult to see the logic behind the requirement for corona passes as an entry ticket for both outdoor and indoor dining.
– It is also difficult to see why it is more dangerous to go to a restaurant, compared to walking around between each other when shopping in the retail trade without requiring coronapas.
– 50 people can run sweaty around each other and play sports without coronapas. But if they are to have a soda at a sidewalk café afterwards, they must be able to present a corona pass.
– It is very difficult to spot the logic, says Katia Østergaard.
