A fourth Swedish man has been acquitted of the robbery attempt.
It is a unanimous jury that has reached the result.
– The court finds it proven that Tayeb Si M’Rabet from August 2019 until his arrest was in the process of preparing a robbery with the same characteristics as he has previously been convicted of, says the presiding judge.
The 51-year-old was sentenced in 2010 to ten years in prison for a coup that has been called the biggest robbery in Danish history. He was expelled from Denmark in connection with the coup against Dansk Værdihåndtering in Brøndby in 2008.
The robbers escaped with 62 million kroner.
While the 27-year-old Swede has been acquitted of having participated in the planning of the robbery against Loomis, which is located in one of Denmark’s safest buildings, he is known guilty of a gross assault. He therefore does not escape punishment.
