CTC presents ‘An Irish Engagement’

Copenhagen Theater Circle has bravely brought live theater readings into our living rooms during the closure. A pre-Christmas production of ‘Much Ado about Nothing’, which involved a huge cast, can still be accessed for your enjoyment via CTC’s Facebook page. Next is a delayed celebration of St. Patrick’s Day: a live reading of ‘An Irish Engagement’, a play by Walter Watts from 1848, described as a “farce in one act”. The reading will be an hour long and the entire cast (who all auditioned for their roles) will be in costume.

‘Copenhagen’

South Bend Civic Theater presents a virtual production of ‘Copenhagen’, a full-length play by Michael Frayn. In 1941, the German physicist Werner Heisenberg traveled to Copenhagen to see his Danish counterpart, Niels Bohr. Together they had revolutionized nuclear science in the 1920s, but now they are on opposite sides of a world war. Guest directed by the acting ensemble’s artistic director Melissa Gard.
Flag football for beginners

Get in training clothes and play football with high energy. Unlike its older bridge gridiron, it is low contact and all about technique and tactics. Tackling takes place by pulling flags out of a belt around the waist – you have to think fast! You meet the coach in the clubhouse and play next to the athletics track.
Hatha Yoga for all levels

The Sports Club 2000 instructors favor Hatha Yoga and spice up their courses with flow and pulse elements, though they include exercises inspired by other versions. Easter in Tivoli

Copenhagen harbor parade
