The Swedish vessel is suspected of violating Finnish territorial waters west of the autonomous islands of Åland, the Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday.
The suspected violation occurred on Saturday at approximately 9 p.m.
The Border Guard is investigating the case.

According to the preliminary report, the vessel crossed about 200 meters in Finnish waters and remained there for about 20 minutes.
Hyrsky said he had no information about the revelation of the case or any other details.
The Border Guard must investigate the case further.
"They may provide more detailed information when the study is completed," The storm said.
The Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs announced on Twitter on Sunday that it had been in contact with the Swedish Embassy in Helsinki and asked for an investigation into the violation of the suspected territorial waters.

In November, a Swedish rescue helicopter violated Finnish airspace near the city on the west coast of Vaasa. Last July, two Russian fighter jets arrived in Finnish airspace near Porvoo in southern Finland.
