– Many have worked at home, others have worked with restrictions. Someone may have experienced that work life and private life have flowed together.
– We experience that many feel it has been stressful and lonely, says Hans Andersen.
Especially the young people who have been employed during the closure must benefit from the money, he explains.
– There are young people who have not yet been physically at their workplace. They have been employed during the pandemic and worked from home since the start of the employment, says Hans Andersen.
The employment rapporteur imagines that there are young people who will be able to benefit from a mentoring scheme, or that companies could involve external consultants to look at well-being in the workplace.
– It is extremely important that they (young people, ed.) Get off to a good start. I think there are a lot of people who are challenged by the fact that they have only seen their colleagues through the screen, he says.
But the money is not just for the newcomers to the job market.
– We almost all have a first working day when we meet again physically at work, he says.
And if companies want to support their employees by arranging activities or making sure that there is time for talk and conversation, then it must be supported politically, Hans Andersen believes.
– We experience that a lot of people feel it has been stressful and lonely. There, we want to support ensuring even better well-being in our workplaces, he says.
The money must be able to be applied for by Danish companies – public as well as private.
