– I walked around with my hands on the carotid artery to feel that my heart was beating. I thought that every breath was the last, that I would die.
Martina Montelius also tells, in the conversation about power, what it was like to be one of the 18 women who in Dagens Nyheter told Matilda Voss Gustavsson about her experiences of Kulturprofilen.
– I do not get anxiety from thinking about Kulturprofilen and the incident with him, but I get anxiety from thinking about the collective guilt that everyone who knew about this, including me, bears because we did not tell about this before.
Martina Montelius also talks about her mother, the author Kristina Lugn, and what the Swedish Academy has meant.
– The Swedish Academy meant a lot to Kristina. For her, it was a context where she could feel safe and at home. And I am grateful for that against the Swedish Academy. They really relieved me! And she always kept her secret! I have never seen a document from the Swedish Academy, I have never heard a hint of what books she read when she was on the Nobel Committee.
The program is made in 2021.
