Among other things, it will again be possible to shop in all stores in centers such as Hvidovre C and Nørrebro Bycenter.
This is of great importance to both the center and the shops that have rented the centre’s premises. This is what Christian Schreiber, center manager for Hvidovre C and Nørrebro Bycenter, says.
– It is of course very crucial. Especially for our tenants, who for many have been shut down for a long time and have had to wait for help packages and so on.
– So everyone, including us, is very much looking forward to reopening, getting a normal operation and inviting our customers inside, says Christian Schreiber.
Although the country’s shopping centers were asked to close in December last year, a few shops have still been able to stay open in the centers.
These are essential stores such as grocery stores and pharmacies.
But from Tuesday, all the other stores must also reopen and start accepting customers.
However, Christian Schreiber does not expect this to mean that there will be an extraordinary number of customers on Tuesday.
– Of course, I hope that all our regular customers come back and have missed us.
– But you have seen that the rest of Denmark has been almost open for a little over a month. So I do not really expect any great pressure on capacity, he says.
Even in Helsingør City Center, which will also have to reopen from Tuesday, there is an expectation of an extraordinarily large rykind of customers.
– This is not the expectation I have, says Vibeke Qvist, center manager for Helsingør City Center.
– But of course we hope that our customers have missed us and that they really want to come and visit our center and shops, she adds.
Even if the smaller malls are allowed to reopen on Tuesday, it will still happen with certain requirements.
Among other things, there is a ceiling on how many customers can be in the centers at a time, and masks must also be worn both inside and outside the stores.
