Ahead of the summer holidays, Denmark will receive more than expected vaccines from Pfizer / BioNTech.
Approximately 650,000 additional vaccines from the two companies will be sent to Denmark in the second quarter. This is stated by Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke (S) on Twitter.
The additional vaccines follow on from the fact that the EU has entered into an agreement with Pfizer to advance the delivery of 50 million vaccines to the EU from the fourth quarter to the second quarter.
– They will be distributed according to pro rata, Heunicke writes in his tweet.
– Absolutely crucial for the vaccine rollout that takes place in Denmark during these weeks and months.
