A total of 467,955 people – corresponding to 8 percent – received both plugs with a corona vaccine and are thus fully vaccinated.
Here you can see how the vaccinations are distributed regionally. In parentheses is indicated what proportion of the inhabitants of the region is in question:
* The Capital Region of Denmark: 310,876 people have started vaccination (16.7 percent).
Vaccinated: 140,387 (7.6).
* Central Jutland Region: 221,327 (16.6).
Completely vaccinated: 106,350 (8).
* North Jutland Region: 101,391 (17.2).
Completely vaccinated: 49,439 (8.4).
* Region Zealand: 159,476 (19).
Completely vaccinated: 68,790 (8.2).
* Region of Southern Denmark: 202,602 (16.5).
Completely vaccinated: 102,989 (8.4).
Currently, vaccines are only offered to people over 16 years of age. SSI still calculates the proportion of vaccinated in relation to the entire population, because they want to assess how close they are to herd immunity.
In addition, vaccines are expected to be offered to younger age groups at some point.
The inventory only includes the vaccinated citizens who are still alive and residing in Denmark.
The Statens Serum Institut cannot state the number of citizens who have started vaccination and have since passed away.
Note that the number of people who have received the first bite also includes those who have completed the vaccination.
The Statens Serum Institut draws attention to the fact that there may be a delay in the registration of the given vaccines.
