The police are in the process of investigating a shooting episode in central Aarhus.
This was confirmed by duty officer Per Bennekov at East Jutland Police on Thursday night.
The episode took place at the intersection between Vestre Ringgade and Silkeborgvej on Wednesday afternoon around 4.30 pm.
Here, the police received several reports that shots had been fired, after which police patrols showed up in large numbers and cordoned off the place.
Per Bennekov states on Thursday morning that the shots were fired by two black-clad men riding together on a scooter.
They subsequently left the site in a westerly direction.
Investigators found several cartridge cases near the intersection after the incident.
