- Four personal assistants who all belong to the same family in Sundsvall are sentenced to multi-year prison sentences for a serious benefit violation and they must also pay two million kronor in damages to Sundsvall municipality.
- According to the district court ruling, the four together have defrauded Sundsvall municipality of millions, by submitting false time reports on personal assistance performed for a family member.
- They were revealed through police investigations which also mapped mobile positions and for a time had camera surveillance in homes which shows that the assistants were not at work as they reported and received compensation for.
The verdict can be appealed no later than May 7.
