The majority of Finns support the importance of coronavirus vaccination certificates in the opening up of society, according to the Toivo survey, a close think tank with the National Coalition Party (NCP).
The survey asked if they thought they should be the first to receive vaccination certificates to visit cultural sites such as events, libraries and museums.
58 per cent of the respondents said that they agreed or somewhat agreed with the idea that Finland should introduce a vaccination certificate system in order to speed up the reopening of society.
Supporters of the Social Democrats (SDP) and the NCP were the most supportive of the vaccination certificate program, while supporters of the Left Alliance and the Finnish Party were the least enthusiastic.
prime minister Sanna Marin (SDP) has previously said that a "vaccination passport" it might not make sense because there is no legislation in Finland that prohibits non-vaccinated people from using services.
A survey conducted by Kantar TNS on April 9-12 received responses from 1,157 respondents. The margin of error for the survey was 2.9 percentage points.
