An innovative new advertising campaign in Finland also surged this week when it used gibber to highlight illiteracy.
The Finnish non-governmental organization World Vision, in cooperation with the advertising agency TBWA Helsinki, developed PSA billboards with a fake language that no one could understand.
The organization also invited social media influencers to share messages using the same makeup. The purpose of the campaign was to illustrate the distribution of education in the country, which has worsened as ever due to the pandemic.
Finland was also part of a historic milestone when Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, made its first intercontinental lower flights.
The airline’s flagship Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner made a trip from Helsinki to Bahrain International Airport last month using sustainable jet fuel provided by the Finnish oil refinery Neste.
Liquid MY sustainable aviation fuel has been reported to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80 percent compared to fossil aviation fuels and reduce CO2 emissions from aviation.
At the same time, the results of a new study show that 95 percent of preschoolers in Finland exceed the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendation for daily screening time.
A study by the University of Helsinki, which involved 699 children aged 1 to 5, found that almost all 5-year-olds used the screens for more than an hour, which increased the risk of psychological problems.
In other news, Aalto University, the University of Helsinki and the state-owned VTT have announced that they will work together to establish an institute focusing on research in quantum science and technology.
InstituteQ: The Finnish Quantum Institute offers postgraduate and industrial education programs aimed at developing quantum technology expertise.

According to a Finnish study, preschoolers exceed the recommended screen time limit
Researchers at the University of Helsinki conducted a study to monitor how much time preschool children spent on electronic devices, such as televisions and video game consoles, at the age of 18 months and again at the age of five.
Nearly all 5-year-olds (95 percent) reported using more than an hour – the WHOโs recommended maximum daily display time – for devices.
Prolonged screening time is a significant risk factor for psychological issues such as hyperactivity, even in young children.
