Fewer cars sold in 2021
“The impact of the green transition agreement in December is clear and it will become even more attractive to choose green cars in the future as technology developments improve,” said the Minister of Taxation, Morten Bødskov.
The agreement, which was entered into late last year, is part of the government’s goal of having 1 million green cars on Denmark’s roads by 2030.
In total, around 5,000 fewer cars were sold in the first three months of 2021 compared to the same period last year.
