This means that 1,280,156 Danes – corresponding to 21.9 percent – have received at least one plug. Of those, 607,400 people received both plugs.
This corresponds to 10.4 percent of Danes now fully vaccinated.

Currently, vaccines are only offered to people over 16 years of age. SSI still calculates the proportion of vaccinated in relation to the entire population, because they want to assess how close they are to herd immunity.
In addition, vaccines are expected to be offered to younger age groups at some point.
The inventory only includes the vaccinated citizens who are still alive and resident in Denmark.
The Statens Serum Institut cannot state the number of citizens who have started vaccination and have since passed away.
Note that the number of people who have received the first bite also includes those who have completed the vaccination.
The Statens Serum Institut points out that there may be a delay in the registration of the given vaccines.
