This is what the Liberal Party’s finance spokesman, Troels Lund Poulsen, says before the proposal is presented on Wednesday.
– Overall, we are very concerned with ensuring that the Danish food jobs can continue to exist in Denmark. We are worried that several thousand people will be fired when we see the full outcome, says Troels Lund Poulsen.
He refers to the fact that the government will present the entire proposal on Wednesday at 11.00. So far, only part of it has been promoted.
The Liberal Party, on the other hand, is positive that the government will reduce CO2 emissions from agriculture through the use of new technology.
– So far we have seen an element that is about the CO2 reduction. In fact, in many ways, we think it makes sense. But our fear lies in what kind of framework conditions the government will provide for future food production. We have to see that when the whole scheme has been presented, says Troels Lund Poulsen.
