– Right now we have had a feeling that we were being forgotten and could not really see ourselves in any of the phases of the reopening plan. That’s why we came up with this call, she says.
– We call for a clear plan to be drawn up in this connection for how and when the public employees who have been sent home from the workplace are expected to be able to return, the trade union writes.
Djøf refers to the government’s framework agreement with the parliamentary parties, in which the reopening is divided into four phases.
With regard to homework, it is mentioned only sparingly in the reopening plan,
– The health authorities must consider whether the recommendations regarding homework can be relaxed, it is stated in the government agreement from 22 March.
It is also on this date that Hanne Fugl Eskjær believes that more public employees can start returning to work.
There are no concrete reopening plans for the relaxation of the recommendation on homework in the plan. This applies to both public and private workplaces.
Djøf still believes that it is time for the government to announce what the plan is for how public employees can return to the workplace.
– Everyone must have a place in the reopening plan. It has to be the companies, the restaurants, the schools. But one of the few workplaces that has not been mentioned specifically in the reopening plan has been the public employees throughout Denmark, says Hanne Fugl Eskjær.
The letter from Djøf is addressed to three ministers: Minister of Taxation Morten Bødskov (S), Minister of Justice Nick Hækkerup (S) and Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke (S).
Djøf represents more than 29,000 public employees and more than 8000 public managers.
