A 28-year-old man has on Wednesday at the Court in Glostrup been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for fraud with corona aid packages.
It writes Ekstra Bladet.
According to the media, this is a Bandidos rocker named André Munch, who in court on Wednesday confessed that he tried to swindle himself to the next one and a half million kroner.
He was part of the fraud attempt when, in April last year, applications were unjustifiably sent to the Danish Business Authority for salary compensation for a total of 26 employees in two companies.
Auditor Morten Stefan Nyenstad has already been sentenced to four years in prison and a fine of one million in the same case, while three more people are waiting to appear in court. They will do so later in May, reports Ekstra Bladet.
The 28-year-old himself has explained during the case that he was only briefly part of the scam, as his role was to obtain offers for cleaning assignments from other companies.
According to his own statement, he was to receive 70,000 kroner of the total dividend.
Conversely, senior prosecutor Sannie Pilebo has called the failed attempt “unusually cynical,” and she argued for four and a half years in prison for the rocker.
André Munch is already serving a 3.5-year prison sentence, but is now being given extra time in prison. He has chosen to receive the sentence of two and a half years in prison.
According to Ekstra Bladet, the prosecution is considering whether to appeal the verdict to the high court.
