Mercury is expected to rise by at least 15 ℃ in southern and central Finland next Monday. As the rains continue to decrease, meteorologists predict that the areas north to Oulu (Northern Ostrobothnia) can see temperatures up to 20 ℃ from Tuesday.
This can mean the beginning of summer, as the season usually starts at the end of May in southern Finland and starts about a month later in Lapland. According to MTV, current forecasts suggest that even northern Finland could see temperatures by more than 20 ℃ by the end of the month.
The weather has remained cool for the rest of the week; However, rain and snowfall are expected across the country. The snow in Eastern Finland will probably rain on Thursday and Friday.
