A 30-year-old man was sent to hospital in critical condition on Monday night after he was stabbed in the chest with a knife at his residence in Borup.
Shortly afterwards, police arrested an 18-year-old man who is now charged with attempted murder. He was produced in constitutional interrogation at 1 pm at the Court in Roskilde.
This is stated by the Central and West Zealand Police.
The prosecutor requested closed doors at the constitutional hearing for the sake of the investigation.
Therefore, information on the charge and the case is sparse.
The court chose to remand the 18-year-old man in custody until June 3. However, it has not been possible to ascertain whether the accused appealed the decision to the High Court.
The episode took place on Parkvej in Borup after midnight on Monday night.

The duty officer at the Central and West Zealand Police, Boye Rasmussen, informed Ritzau on Monday morning that the two men have a relationship with each other, but did not want to elaborate further.
The police investigation must clarify what the motive for the stabbing is.
Central and West Zealand Police state that the 30-year-old man is seriously injured, but is in stable condition on Monday afternoon and out of danger.
