Decision has been made
The frozen political response to the plans has prompted Immigration and Integration Minister Mattias Tesfaye to convene a cross-party session in parliament on 25 May.
But at least according to the Social Democrats’ spokesman for immigration issues, Rasmus Stoklund, the decision has been made.
“Everywhere in Denmark where we place such a center, there will be protests because no one wants such a center in their backyard,” said Stoklund.
“Now the decision has been made and the center has been bought.”
