- Now the two brothers who were blamed for four-year-old Kevin’s death in 1998 are starting a lawsuit against Arvika municipality.
- “The social services violated their human rights under the European Convention,” said lawyer Stefan Liliebäck, who represents the brothers.
- The first step will be to request all documents in the case from the municipality.
P4 Värmland is looking for Arvika municipality for a comment. As an explanation for why they do not want to give the brothers a public apology, the municipality has previously written that the information can not be responded to from a confidentiality point of view, and that the municipality’s actions aimed to give the family support and were governed by the debt issue.
