According to weather forecasts, the storm in late spring will bring a considerable amount of rain and strong wind on Wednesday.
Heavy rains are expected to close over the southern and central parts of the country, bringing wind or even a storm.
On Wednesday, the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) issued warnings in the regions of Southwest Finland, Uusimaa and Åland (maximum 20 m / s) and in Ostrobothnia and Southern Ostrobothnia (15 m / s).
The storm warnings concerned areas in the Gulf of Finland, the northern Baltic Sea and the Archipelago Sea.
Wind warnings were valid on both land and sea areas.
The southern regions are also expected to receive the most rainfall, FMI Heikki Sinisalo told the news agency STT.
Most of the rain comes in the morning and afternoon," Sinisalo stated that rains and strong east winds would be directed north during the day.
