- Finnish researchers have developed a new rapid test for corona that is taken far back in the nose and seems to have higher sensitivity than many other rapid tests.
- The Finnish rapid test is intended to be used as a rapid test in schools, workplaces and before sporting events when a person should be able to analyze up to 500 tests per hour.
- Karin Tegmark Wisell, head of department at the Swedish Public Health Agency, believes that the test can complement other rapid tests, but points out that the method is not as sensitive as PCR.
