The episode, which can be seen on the streaming service HBO from Thursday, arouses nostalgia among film and TV reviewers.
In “Friends: The Reunion”, the six actors who played the lead roles meet and look back on memorable scenes.
It works, several reviewers believe.
– There is still a fascination in seeing friends remember, tease and have fun with each other in an easy, authentic camaraderie, writes The Guardian.
The Guardian has given the series three out of five stars. Apart from the good chemistry between the stars, however, The Guardian does not have much left for the episode.
– It could never be more than a nostalgic celebration of past lucrative times, the newspaper writes.
Several other reviewers agree, and they have therefore also saved on the stars.
– “Friends: The Reunion” ends as the follow-up, absolutely no one has been waiting for, Berlingske writes.
Berlingske therefore gives two out of six stars, while Filmmagasinet Ekko has given three out of six stars.
Several of the media agree that the section does not contribute much new.
The Independent has been the most generous in the flock with four out of five stars, calling the episode “equal parts indifferent and at the same time a complete delight”.
“Friends” ran between 1994 and 2004 and was shown in Denmark on TV2. The series was a worldwide success and became the starting shot for several of the stars’ careers.
