The pandemic has paralyzed many – physically, mentally and financially. But Copenhageners who work at home have emerged relatively unharmed according to a new ranking, which suggests that they are least anxious anywhere in the world.
To investigate the effect of the pandemic on those working at home, Prices for small businesses rated 43 cities to reveal where they are most likely to be exposed to anxiety.
And its study concludes that Copenhagen has been the best place. In fact, many home-made workers remain confident that they have a promising career ahead of them despite the pandemic.
Copenhagen topped the ranking for both satisfaction, annual working hours and depression.
Most anxious workers
Copenhagen was followed by Prague, Zurich, Reykjavík and Berlin in the ranking. Olso, Ljubljana, Bratislava, Amsterdam and Vienna finished in the top ten.
South African city of Cape Town ranked at the bottom followed by Athens and Istanbul.
Research published by the Kaiser Family Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on health issues, revealed that both remote and local employees are also struggling with serious mental health consequences due to COVID-19.
