Last week, it was time for the prosecution against Vårbynätverket to deal with the parts that deal with the kidnapping of a successful artist in April 2020. During the course of the investigation, no one wanted to talk to the police. But during the trial, several people started talking.
Yasin was questioned about the suspicions against him regarding the first suspected attempt to kidnap the artist that never happened. Yasin denied any wrongdoing and said instead he tried to stop everything when he understood what was happening.
But the prosecutor does not agree with that statement and demanded that Yasin be sentenced to one and a half years in prison.
Yesterday, information was also received on the arrest issue. Something that usually gives an indication of whether the accused will be convicted or not. And the court decided that Yasin should be kept in custody. Which could mean he’s sentenced to prison.
The court also questioned another rap artist suspected of involvement in the later kidnapping, which Yasin was not suspected of. He too was told that he was being held in custody.
P3 Crimea this week is about Yasin, the kidnapping and the voices from inside the courtroom.
