The start of the European Football Championship 2020 is getting closer, unfortunately the Icelandic team did not advance to the final stage of the championship. Icelanders came only third in their group. So Iceland took part in the play-offs in which it was eliminated by the Hungarian national team. Therefore, the Icelandic team will not have the opportunity to repeat the sensational result they achieved during Euro 2016, where they reached the quarter-finals.
Today, on Tuesday, June 8, Poland will play a friendly match with Iceland. Today’s game will be the last test for the Polish national team. The match will be played at INEA Stadium in Poznań, and it will be possible to watch it in, among others, Icelandic TV RÚV at 4:00 p.m..
Euro 2020 will start on June 11. The Polish national team will compete in the tournament on June 14 against Slovakia, then against Spain on June 19, and against Sweden on June 23.
