In future, you will be able to travel in a large part of Europe without having to go into isolation when returning home. In some countries, even the test requirement lapses.
Here you can read about the new rules that come into force on 26 June:
* Lapse of requirements for testing and isolation.
In future, it will be possible to travel into Denmark from other EU and Schengen countries, without having to be tested or go into isolation upon entry.
This is because the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is changing the risk assessment for the area. The countries that are currently colored “yellow” and “orange” will instead be colored “green” and “yellow”, respectively.
The color codes are an expression of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ risk assessment of the countries. It will thus only be when you travel home from a “red” country that you as a Dane must be tested.
* European coronapas enters into force.
Travel restrictions will be transferred to an EU coronapas scheme.
All EU and Schengen citizens – including Danes – will be able to be issued an EU corona passport that can be used across borders.
* Tourists can come in with coronapas.
Foreigners can enter Denmark if they have a negative test result from a test that is at most 72 hours old if it is a PCR test and at most 48 hours old if it is a lightning test.
