Among them, 1,616,992 have been vaccinated. It could be because they got the second plug with a vaccine, or because their first plug was with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which requires only one plug.
Thus, it is 27.6 who can call themselves fully vaccinated.
Here you can see how the vaccinations are distributed regionally:
* The Capital Region of Denmark: 941,975 people have started vaccination (50.7 percent of the region’s citizens).
Completely vaccinated: 492,541 (26.5).
* Central Jutland Region: 661,813 (49.6).
Completely vaccinated: 367,657 (27.5).
* North Jutland Region: 294,248 (49.9).
Completely vaccinated: 167,093 (28.3).
* Region Zealand: 465,874 (55.4).
Completely vaccinated: 249,725 (29.7).
* Region of Southern Denmark: 612,128 (50).
Completely vaccinated: 339,976 (27.8).
Currently, vaccines are only offered to people over the age of 16. SSI still calculates the proportion of vaccinated in relation to the entire population, because they want to assess how close they are to herd immunity.
From the autumn, children up to the age of 12 will also have the opportunity to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
The inventory only includes the vaccinated citizens who are still alive and resident in Denmark.
Note that the number of people who have received the first bite also includes those who have completed the vaccination.
SSI points out that there may be a delay in the registration of the given vaccines.
