- The Ombudsman, JO, today directed harsh criticism at the press conference a year ago where prosecutor Krister Petersson pointed out the so-called Skandiamannen as a suspect in the murder of Prime Minister Olof Palme.
- According to the Ombudsman, it appeared at the press conference that the man, who died in 2000, was guilty of the murder.
- Now prosecutor Krister Petersson is responding to the criticism in Ekot’s live broadcast. “The outcry would have been worse if I had not pointed him out,” he says.
