Two young men were driving in a car in Vårby, Stockholm on March 24, 2015 when they were suddenly shot with automatic fire. 19-year-old Marley is hit in the head by a shot and dies. The police are surprised. Marley has no threat against him and is probably not the target of the attack.
Two people are arrested on suspicion of murder but are released for lack of evidence. The case is one of several murders with firearms that have taken place in recent years where no one has been convicted.
And in the country’s Cold Fall groups, brutal murders and fatal shootings are beginning to pile up. We have seen figures that show that Stockholm has 33 shootings in a criminal environment in the last ten years that have become cold cases.
P3 crime is this week about the murder of Marley and the new kind of cold case.
