Nine days have now passed without stones being thrown at cars on the E65 between Malmö and Ystad.
It writes TV2 Bornholm.
This corresponds to the period when the Swedish police have made an extra effort to put an end to the dangerous stone-throwing.
Scanian police commissioner Ewa-Gun Westford tells Ritzau that a central part of the preventive work has been to be present along the motorway.
– We are out on the E65, where we are completely visible with police cars. We call this security-creating efforts, she says.
The Swedish police have not yet succeeded in finding any perpetrators in the case, which is why the investigation continues.
– We talk to everyone who has been exposed to this, says Ewa-Gun Westford.
