There are more than 20 cases of infection, a positive percentage of over three, and that the number of infected per 100,000 inhabitants – known as incidence – is over 1000.
In Skagen Parish, the status on Tuesday is that there have been 64 cases of infection in the past week, a positive percentage of 4.8 and an incidence of 835.8. It shows figures from the Statens Serum Institut (SSI).
A possible closure will initially affect cultural institutions such as museums, cinemas, swimming pools and sports halls, as well as SFOs, leisure clubs and schools.
For the latter, however, it will only become relevant in connection with the start of school next week.
The incidence in Skagen Parish has quadrupled in six days, but the increase has not been so sharp in recent days.
According to local media, the infection has been increasing in Skagen in continuation of week 29 – known as Hellerup week, where there are many tourists in the city.
Several restaurants in Skagen had to stay closed last week due to infection among the staff.
Last week, the North Jutland Region decided to increase the capacity for PCR tests in Skagen, so that it is currently possible to get a PCR test every day in the city. It must get more tested and thus break the chains of infection.
The possibility of PCR testing runs until Wednesday, when the region will then take stock of the situation and assess whether there is still a need for more tests than usual.
