– I’m just so sorry – because I have no desire to cross the boundaries of others, and I deeply regret.
Kristian Hegaard, who is, among other things, spokesman for the Radical Left, has already informed the radical parliamentary group that he is resigning from the Folketing and quitting politics.
Kristian Hegaard on the Facebook that a few months ago he had a conversation with the party’s political leader, Sofie Carsten Nielsen, because she had been made aware that he had violated a limit with a member.
– It’s not something I remember myself. But I take it very seriously and I’m really sorry to have behaved cross-border. Because that’s not how I know myself.
– I had all the intentions that it should not happen again. That after this conversation I have made a new mistake, I must take the consequence of.
This is not the first time that the Radical Left has been hit by a case of cross-border behavior.
Last year, the party’s then political leader, Morten Østergaard, had to resign from the post, where he was replaced by Sofie Carsten Nielsen.
The reason was that he had violated party colleague Lotte Rod several years before.
Sofie Carsten Nielsen and a number of other leading members of the party have been contacted for comment, but no one has been contacted. It has also been possible to get a comment from Kristian Hegaard himself.
