15 men – all FCK supporters – have been charged with, together with several unknown perpetrators, having committed serious violence against the boy.
– In our opinion, they have been together to assault one person, says senior plaintiff Henrik Uhl Pedersen, who says that there has also been a video of it in the media:
– It looks relatively violent.
According to the indictment, the boy was knocked over, after which he was repeatedly trampled, beaten and kicked in the head and on the body.
The men also threw and hit with chairs, cones and similar objects, and the boy was hit several times in the head and on the body, the indictment reads.
Most of the 15 accused men are in their 20s, while one is 19 years old and another is 36 years old. Some deny complete guilt, while others partially admit.
In the case, the indictment also states that they must have been covered by masks and caps, so that it became more difficult to identify them. The police have therefore been on a difficult task, the prosecutor explains.
– They were almost all masked. Therefore, it has been a major task to identify them, says Henrik Uhl Pedersen.
The trial against the FCK supporters begins on 15 September, and due to the many defendants, it takes place in a room in Nicolai Eigtveds Gade in Copenhagen, so there is room for the many defendants and their lawyers.
In addition to the case against the 15 FCKs, there are definitely a large number of cases involving fights that took place on the day of the match on July 12 last year. There are cases against fans from both sides as well as some outsiders.
Henrik Uhl Pedersen says that the police have been quarantined against coming to the stadium for a number of the participants in fights this day. It can be both for a limited period or forever.
The match between Brøndby and FCK on 12 July 2020 ended 0-0. Only FCK fans were allowed to buy tickets for the match, where there was a reduced number of spectators due to corona.
