A 20-year-old man is produced on Saturday at 1 pm in constitutional interrogation at the Court in Aarhus charged with attempted manslaughter.
This is stated in the East Jutland Police’s 24-hour report.
According to the police, the 20-year-old was involved in a shooting episode at the intersection of Silkeborgvej and Vestre Ringgade in Aarhus in April this year.
Here, several shots were fired from a black PGO scooter without license plates, and a random car with a female driver behind the wheel was hit.
The episode, which took place in the afternoon, left a bullet hole in the car’s screen box over the left rear wheel. The woman did not come to anything.
A total of six cartridge cases were found at the scene, while two dark-clad men on the scooter were wanted.
Police said in April that it was probably a shooting with threads to a conflict in a criminal environment.
– Our clear presumption is that the motive for the shooting episode must be found in an internal conflict in the criminal environment, and we are convinced that the perpetrators had a specific goal they would hit, it sounded in April from Deputy Police Inspector at East Jutland Police Lennart Glerup .
East Jutland Police state that they currently have no further comments on the case. It is therefore unknown exactly what role the police believe the 20-year-old played in the shooting episode.
