A total of 68.9 percent of the population is now considered fully vaccinated. That is a total of 4.03 million citizens.
Currently, vaccines are being offered to all persons over the age of 12.
SSI calculates the proportion of vaccinated in relation to the entire population, because they want to assess how close Denmark is to herd immunity.
Read here how things are progressing with the different vaccination groups:
* Groups 1-9:
Vaccine groups 1-9 include citizens over the age of 65, health professionals, the particularly vulnerable and their relatives.

Note that the inventory only includes the vaccinated citizens who are still alive and residing in Denmark.
The number of people who have received the first bite also includes those who have completed the vaccination. Those who have received the vaccine from Johnson & Johnson, which requires only one sting, are also included in both figures.
SSI points out that there may be a delay in the registration of the given vaccines.
